Stock Market Today (3:30 PM) — Friday, December 12th 2025
The Good News: Nifty reclaims the 26,000 mark as bulls join the global conga-line of rising markets.
# Benchmark Indices at 3:30 PM
NIFTY (+148, 26047)
SENSEX (+450, 85268)
BANK NIFTY (+180, 59390)
The 2-Big Positive Catalysts:
1) Strength flowing in from a powerful global market rally.
2) Growing optimism that an India–US trade deal may soon be finalised.
The Biggest theme on backdrop still revolved around the US Fed rate cut which has boosted equity sentiment globally.
A lower US policy rate typically improves global risk appetite. For emerging markets like India, this means stronger foreign inflow potential, a healthier rupee, and better liquidity.
The improved US growth outlook also supports export-oriented sectors, especially IT, adding further tailwinds.
Ideally, when US rates fall, global investors rotate capital toward higher-yielding markets — making India a natural beneficiary.
Bottom-line: Nifty may have logged a second straight weekly decline, but today’s close above the 26,000 mark signals that — for now — all is well that ends well.
