Regulatory Compliance

1. “Research Analyst” means a person, who is primarily who is responsible for,

• preparation or publication of the content of the research report; or
• providing research report, or
• making ‘buy/sell/hold’ recommendation; or
• giving price target; or
• offering an opinion concerning public offer, with respect to securities that are listed or to be listed in a stock exchange, whether or not any such person has the job title of ‘research analyst’ and includes any other entities engaged in issuance of research report or research analysis.

An Research Analyst shall disclose all conflicts of interests as and when they arise. He shall act honestly, fairly and in the best interests of its clients and in the integrity of the market. He shall maintain an arms-length relationship between his activities as an Research Analyst and other activities. He shall also act with due skill, care and diligence in the best interests of its clients and shall ensure that its advice is offered after thorough analysis and taking into account available alternatives based on risk profiling and suitability of the client.

An Research Analyst required to comply with general obligations &responsibilities such as general responsibility, disclosures to clients, maintenance of records, etc, as specified under SEBI (RESEARCH ANALYSTS) REGULATIONS, 2014.
